Our local historical society hosts a "Ghost Walk" each year at Mt. Hope Cemetery. They select a section of the cemetery and research the people buried there, then pass these bits of history along to the folks gathered for the walk. This year they did section "C".
Section C contains the Civil War section, the unknown fireman, several Lansing and Michigan State University notables. The most interesting to me was the grave of Luther Baker. He was involved with the posse that brought down John Wilkes Booth. I work off "Baker" Street.
When you google Luther Baker John Wilkes Booth you get a listing that shows that conspiracy theories are not new. Always something new to learn.
